Monthly Challenge

300 deadlifts at 43% of BW, 30:50. Stan, that wasn't fun. But for the record, it burned 340 calories.

  1. What is about to happen with your body's repair of the damage will burn far more than 340 calories. And I assure you, your body did much more than burn 340 calories during the test.

  2. Yep!!! That is the glory of weightlifing - the afterburn is almost as significant as the during-burn. But since I can't quantify the afterburn calories accurately, I can't eat them and still hope to lose my last 2.5 pounds (by Monday!).
